David has often been told by those valued people in his life that he should start a podcast to help support those dads out there who want to be better but due to life constraints might not have the time to research or explore how to be better.
Make each moment matter. This is how I try to live as a father. I find myself searching for those opportunities to create experiences that will be memorable for my son and me. As a single father, I value the time spent with my son. The lead-up to our time together is often spent thinking about and planning how we can have meaningful moments together. Whether we are creatively tackling school projects or doing soccer drills in the yard, I am constantly searching for moments to strengthen my bond with my son. Approaching single parenting from a place of intentionality has produced a much more fruitful bond with my son. Just as I have found inspiration from the most random books or videos, I hope that what I share of my fatherhood journey inspires you just the same.
